Product Description
This LKS safety cable has a 1/8" diameter and a 20-1/4" length, and is suitable use with 1/2 to 1-1/4" hose. This cable is constructed plated steel for strength and durability and provides a hose to hose safety restraint in the event of coupling separation.
Hose fittings connect, control, change the direction of, and terminate the flow in piping and hose systems. They are made of brass, stainless steel, galvanized steel, and other materials that resist corrosion, pressure, and wear. Hose fittings have various types of connections, including threaded, barbed, push-to-connect, dry disconnect, and others including those based on internationally-accepted specifications. Hose fittings are used in systems such as air compressors, automatic manufacturing operations, aircraft controls, and tire installation in industries including agriculture, mining, road construction, firefighting, and aviation.
WhipCheck Safety cables are strong steel cables with spring loaded loops which are used o on all blast hose and air hose connections to reduce the danger when hose coupling fails. Whipcheck Safety Cables prevent injury to operators and damage to plant and machinery.

1. How do you design a whipcheck ?

2. what’s safety factor does your product use?
General, use a 5 to 1 or 3 to 1 safety factor when we design it.
eg: breaking load is (1000N) 100kg, safety factor is 5:1 (200N), Breaking strength should never be considered the rope's working load.
3. I would get a whipcheck, how do I choose?
The same diameter of steel wire cable ,the 7X19 construction is more flexible than the 7X7 construction.
eg:1/16’’7X19 steel wire rope more flexible than 1/16’’7X7
4. Which material should I choose?
Stainless steel cable has better corrosion resistance, but more expensive and slightly less tensile strength than galvanized steel cable.
If it is used for general industry, galvanized steel is ok, as for marine environment, stainless steel wire cable will be recommended. It
depends on you application.
5. What’s the lead time of my order?
It is largely depending on the size of your order. Normally, 20days. If you are in urgent need of it, we will try our best to meet your requirement.
