Wire rope assembly with eye to eye loops, each cable is made to measure using 7x19 strand marine grade stainless steel.

Please Note: Loop height (H) has a tolerance of +/- 1mm.

Each wire rope assembly is made to your dimensions and consists of:

• One length of 7x19 strand - A4 316 grade stainless steel wire rope
• A soft eye loop termination with copper ferrule at each end

"Soft Eye" refers to the fact that the wire forms a natural loop. A "hard eye" would include a wire rope thimble within the eye.

How to Measure

Please provide us with the BEARING SURFACE to BEARING SURFACE cable assembly measurements.

ALWAYS:

• Ensure the operator is properly trained to use wire rope slings.

• Store and handle wire rope slings correctly.

• Inspect wire rope slings and accessories before use and before placing into storage.

• Follow safe slinging practices, as given overleaf.

• Fit slings carefully, protect them from sharp edges and position hooks to face outwards from the load.

• Apply the correct mode factor for the slinging arrangement.

• Back hook free legs to the master link.

NEVER:

• Attempt to shorten, knot or tie wire rope slings.

• Force, hammer or wedge slings or their fittings into position.

• Lift on the point of the hook.

• Expose wire rope slings to chemicals, particularly acidic or strong alkali conditions without consulting the supplier.

• Use wire rope slings at temperatures above 100°C or below minus 40°C without consulting the supplier.
