Custom wire rope assemblies examples designed and manufactured by The Cable Connection to the customer‘s specifications. Our capabilities include electric fuse cutting, rotary swaging, impact swaging, hydraulic swaging, cnc lathe and mill machining and wire rope load testing and pre-stretching.

Fork Tensioner Wire Rope Assemblies

NB: Price displayed in the table includes 1 metre of wire. Please use the calculator (above right) to work out the cost to your specific dimensions.

Each wire rope assembly is made to your dimensions and consists of:

• One length of stainless steel rope - please specify
• One fixed swage fork at one end, with clevis pin
• One swage fork rigging screw tensioner at the other, with clevis pin
• Tensioner supplied 1/3 engaged to provide maximum adjustment

Please choose either 7x7 Strand wire rope or 1x19 Strand wire rope

• 7x7 = more flexible, less strength.
• 1x19 = less flexible, more strength.

Tension on the wire is achieved by rotating the fork tensioner. The wire remains static and will not turn.

Please provide us with the pin centre to pin centre cable assembly measurements.

Adjustment and tension:

Adjustment and tension is achieved by twisting the tensioner barrel.
